Microneedling
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that rejuvenates the skin by stimulating its natural healing processes. The procedure uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Collagen is the protein that makes your skin plump and elastin allows your skin to stretch and bounce back. Collagen and elastin stimulation with microneedling is safe for all skin types giving you a totally natural rejuvenation.
We offer four advanced microneedling devices: Candela Exceed, SkinPen, XCellaris PRO Twist and Silkro Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling. Each of these devices is designed to deliver precise, controlled treatments that address a range of skin concerns. Whether you're looking to reduce the appearance of acne scars, diminish fine lines and wrinkles, or improve skin texture and tone, microneedling can offer noticeable results. During your consultation, we'll recommend the best device and numbers of treatments needed for the results you want to achieve.

What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that rejuvenates the skin by stimulating its natural healing processes. This treatment involves the use of tiny, sterile needles to create micro-injuries in the skin's surface. These micro-injuries prompt the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, which are essential proteins that help maintain the skin's structure, firmness, and elasticity. As we age, our body’s natural production of collagen decreases, leading to wrinkles, fine lines, and a loss of skin firmness. Microneedling helps counteract these effects by encouraging new collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.
What is Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling?
RF Microneedling uses radiofrequency energy emitted through tiny needles which create miniscule injuries to the skin. These controlled wounds trigger the body's natural healing, resulting in the production of new collagen and elastin. This can help improve the appearance of acne scars and is more effective on broader acne scars rather than narrow, deeper scars. Treatments scheduled over a period of several months can fade acne scars by stimulating collagen and skin regeneration. We use the Silkro RF Microneedling laser and can combine it with other treatments to address pigment concerns. Read more on our Skin Resurfacing/Brown Spots page.
What Does Microneedling Feel Like?
Microneedling can feel like a variety of sensations from a warmth or scratching to a prickling or snapping rubber band. Many clients do not require a topical numbing cream but for those who prefer it or who maybe having treatment on a sensitive area, we offer this to manage any discomfort.
